Rebecca is a qualified solicitor with over five years ‘ experience in criminal law, including two and a half years in practice as a solicitor. She provides representation at all stages of the criminal justice process — from initial police interviews to contested trials in court — and is known for her meticulous, organised and thorough approach to every case she handles.
Rebecca is deeply committed to client care. She ensures her clients feel supported, heard and well-informed, no matter how complex or sensitive their case may be. Her personable nature and clear communication style make her especially effective when working with young people and individuals with mental health needs, an area in which she has developed particular expertise.
Her practice spans the full range of general criminal defence work, and she has successfully represented clients facing charges from minor offences to the most serious and complex cases. Rebecca ‘s experience includes work on high-profile matters, such as her involvement in the 2025 Notting Hill Carnival murder trial.
In addition to her criminal defence work, Rebecca has extensive experience in defending civil applications brought by the police and other authorities. Including sexual risk orders, stalking protection orders and criminal behaviour orders, these are often cases where no criminal charges have been laid.
Rebecca also has significant experience defending prosecutions brought by local authorities and the RSPCA and is skilled in managing the unique legal and evidential challenges these cases present.

Notable Cases:
R v H – Rebecca successfully defended an allegation of sexual assault by penetration involving two youths. She obtained and examined the client ‘s phone download, which was fundamental in securing a not guilty verdict at the Crown Court.
R v P – Rebecca represented a client accused of rape. By commissioning medical reports and taking witness statements, Rebecca and Counsel were able to persuade the jury to return a verdict of not guilty.
R v F – The client was alleged to have controlled and coerced his partner throughout their relationship. Rebecca represented him from the police station through to trial, ultimately achieving a not guilty verdict at the Crown Court.
R v D – The client faced multiple charges of arson with intent to endanger life. Rebecca gathered crucial evidence regarding identification and obtained alibi witness statements, leading the Crown to offer no evidence and dismiss the case.
R v S – The client was accused of sexual assault on an aircraft. Rebecca and Counsel successfully persuaded the Crown to offer no evidence, resulting in the case being dismissed at the Crown Court.
R v B – A multi-handed youth case involving four defendants charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Rebecca submitted written representations to the Crown, successfully securing an out-of-court disposal for her client.
Commissioner of the Police Metropolis v F – This was a police application for a Sexual Risk Order, despite the client not being charged with any offence (though under investigation). Rebecca meticulously prepared the case and convinced the Court that the order was unnecessary, resulting in the application being dismissed.
Reading Borough Council v M & G – A case brought by the local council alongside the RSPCA for multiple breaches of the Animal Welfare Act. Rebecca assisted the clients in reducing the charges and successfully mitigated to the extent that a community order was imposed.
