Notable Cases:

R v G 2023 – Ouiza represented a defendant charged with arranging or facilitating travel in a multi-handed modern slavery case. Following extensive work and a successful modern slavery referral, the CPS offered no evidence on the first day of trial.

R v T 2024 – Represented a defendant arrested for violent disorder at Notting Hill Carnival. The client, charged alongside his brother (convicted of murder), maintained not guilty pleas and proceeded to trial at the Old Bailey.

R v O 2025 – Defendant charged with multiple sexual offences. Ouiza ‘s litigation work and detailed representations highlighting disclosure failures led to a full CPS review. The case was discontinued due to no realistic prospect of conviction.

R v O 2025 – Defendant charged with threats to kill and threatening with a bladed article. Following a five-day trial, the jury found the client not guilty on both counts.

R v A 2025 – Defendant pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply 5kg of cocaine. Ouiza secured psychiatric and psychological evidence that significantly mitigated the client ‘s sentence to 42 months in custody, compared to a co-defendant who received nine years.
