Debbie Rodaway is an associate in IBB Crime with HAL Solicitors’ criminal defence team. She is a specialist in Criminal Law and originally qualified as a barrister before transferring to become a Solicitor in 1999.
Debbie is a Supervisor of Very High Cost Criminal Cases and is qualified as a Duty Solicitor at both the Magistrates Courts and the Police Stations. She is an experienced and well-respected advocate and has expertise in dealing with mentally disordered defendants.

Notable Cases
R v R - Secured an acquittal for a defendant at the Old Bailey charged with conspiracy to murder after masked gunmen shot a rival gang member in a barbershop in Harlesden.
R v S/B - Successfully defended 2 men at the Old Bailey who were charged with murder following a group attack on a teenager in a West Ealing Park.
R v S - Litigated a death by dangerous driving case involving a fatality on the A40. The charge was subsequently reduced to a charge of death by careless driving, and the defendant avoided a period of imprisonment.
R v K - Successfully defended one of 3 men charged with s18 GBH and aggravated burglary, where entry was forced to a residential property and machetes were used to cause serious injury to the victim. The matter was heard at Isleworth Crown Court.
